Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to manage and grow our partnerships with travel agencies and Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding market reach, increasing revenue, and ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies within the travel agency and OTA segments.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets for travel agency and OTA segments.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge.

Account Management

  • Manage relationships with travel agencies and OTA partners to maximize engagement and sales.
  • Regularly review and evaluate partner performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with new and existing partners.

Revenue Growth

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue potential.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide weekly/monthly reports to the Sales Manager/Head of Sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing to implement promotional campaigns and offers tailored to travel agencies and OTAs.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless partner experiences.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Manager to align goals and strategies with the overall sales objectives.

Market Insights

  • Attend industry events, trade fairs, and exhibitions to represent the company and build networks.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.

Training & Support

  • Provide training and support to travel agency and OTA partners on company products, services, and systems.
  • Assist in resolving partner inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the travel industry or OTA sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
