About the role

This full-time Assistant Sales Manager role at Swift Energy Sdn Bhd will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the company's sales targets across the Shah Alam, Selangor territory. As a key member of the sales team, you will assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive growth and maximise opportunities for the business.

What you'll be doing

1. Drive sales initiatives for the company’s products and services within the Process Control Industry, Oils & Fats Industry, Oil & Gas, and Petrochemical sectors.
2. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through effective prospecting and lead generation.
3. Providing sales support to the team, including preparing sales proposals, managing customer relationships, and closing deals.
4. Assisting with the development and execution of sales plans and strategies to meet and exceed targets.
5. Monitoring and analysing sales performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
7. Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the sales team.
8. Staying up-to-date with industry developments, market trends, and competitor activity.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum Degree in Electrical / Control Systems / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field, preferably within the energy or a related industry.
3. Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
4. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
5. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
6. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
7. Proactive and self-motivated with a customer-centric approach.
