We are looking for an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Kota Kinabalu Marriott Hotel. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in driving the sales efforts for our renowned hotel in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Your strategic insights and exceptional customer service skills will be vital in expanding our sales pipeline and nurturing long-lasting relationships with our clients.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets

Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the local market

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions

Prepare sales proposals, presentations and other marketing materials to effectively showcase our hotel's offerings

Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business prospects

Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and best practices

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or account management role, preferably within the hospitality industry

Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets

Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

Strong business acumen and analytical skills to identify and capitalize on market opportunities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience in using CRM systems

Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
