Job description

We are representing our client, a leading public-listed manufacturer and distributor of wood panel products. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a Assistant Sales Manager to be based at their Johor Bahru Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the branch manager in achieving branch sales targets
2. Identify, evaluate, and develop potential customers
3. Build relationships with existing and new customers
4. Promote and sell the company's products
5. Handle customer complaints regarding quality, delivery, or other issues
6. Assist the branch manager with branch operational matters

Requirements:

1. Experience in wood panel, furniture material, or FMCG sales is an advantage
2. Minimum 10 years of sales experience selling physical goods
3. At least 5 years of team leadership experience
4. Own transport and willingness to travel outstation
5. Ability to travel to Singapore and overseas countries
6. Language proficiency in English, Malay, and Chinese (Mandarin-speaking customer interaction required)
