About the role

Join the dynamic team at Vivo Food Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. In this full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor, you will play a vital role in driving the success and growth of our restaurant operations. With a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee all aspects of the restaurant's daily activities.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in the overall management of the restaurant, including staff supervision, inventory control, and financial management
• Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to the Restaurant Manager
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu items are delivered consistently and to the highest quality
• Oversee staff scheduling, training, and development to create a positive and productive work environment
• Assist with the implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives to drive increased revenue
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legal regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar assistant restaurant management or restaurant supervisory role
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
• Thorough understanding of food safety and health regulations in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
