Wear Safe (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (WSM) was acquired by KOSSAN in 2003. WSM started its operation in Port Klang with 5 dipping latex surgical glove lines. In year 2007, WSM was relocated to new plant at Jalan Meru, Klang with a centralized sterile packing location and enhanced production lines of a capacity of 8 million pairs of surgical gloves per month.
With a growing market demand, KOSSAN has invested another WSM plant in Jalan Meru in year 2013. The plant was commissioned with 9 new production lines with a monthly capacity of more than 31.5 million pairs of surgical gloves . The plant has obtained ISO 9001:2008, EN ISO 13485:2012 Quality Management System (QMS) and CMDR and ISO Class 8 in 2013.
As at today, there are more than 400 well-trained employees in WSM. With the advent of Information Technology, KOSSAN has embrace and employed new technologies to cultivate a knowledge-based workforce and to promote better communications with all relevant parties.
