Beryl's Chocolate Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance and Control Manager to oversee quality processes and ensure compliance with standards like HACCP and ISO. The role includes leading a QA/QC team, managing audits, and ensuring product quality across manufacturing operations. Candidates should possess a degree in Food Science and at least 5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Oversee the online quality control process, coordinate and manage daily activities related to quality and food safety, ensuring compliance with both organizational and regulatory quality standards.
Establish, implement, and maintain necessary processes for quality management systems, including HACCP, GMP, HALAL, and ISO documentation control, as well as managing internal and external audits.
Ensure all procedures such as GMP and HACCP are followed and implemented with all relevant documents being recorded and updated, continuously improving process flow and working methods.
Lead and motivate the QA/QC team to achieve quality objectives and goals, ensuring all quality and product reliability indicators are well maintained at all times.
Manage customer complaint investigations and product quality failures, also participating in the resolution of internal and external complaints or quality issues.
Establish and maintain quality control and assurance for the manufacturing process, from incoming raw materials testing, in-process testing to final inspection.
Liaise with other departments on any issue related to quality aspects, ensuring product quality through analysis, inspection planning, and quality auditing.
Ensure the entire quality inspection systems are maintained and container inspection is in order.
Monitor control measures and corrective actions, ensuring all inspection, measuring, and testing equipment are correctly controlled, calibrated, and maintained.
Establish incoming, in-process, and outgoing product inspection and verification procedures.
Ensure all check sheets are correctly completed, and all non-conformities have been addressed and signed off.
Monitor site hygiene and housekeeping audits, driving improvement opportunities.
Take charge of organizing and sustaining fumigation activities.
Assist in Halal Certification as and when required.
Develop a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the site.
REQUIREMENTS:
1.Education & Professional Qualification:
At least possess with a Degree in Food Science or a related field.
2.Training Needs:
Trained on the requirements of the HACCP, GMP, and other food safety system, ISO 9001 Standard, if preferred;
Trained on programs (if any) identified in the On-Job Training Program & Records.
3.Necessary Experience:
Possess a minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the areas of sourcing and vendor management.
Ability to work within deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to analyze data and create and review processes.
Supervisory and management experience.

Shortly after that in 1998, we relocated and built our new factory in the Seri Kembangan Industrial Area where we increased our production lines to provide an even more diverse range of chocolate products to fulfil our promise for high quality and delicious chocolates to our customers.
