Job summary

A leading company in the field of landscape architecture is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to manage projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, preparing detailed design documents, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Candidates should possess a degree in Landscape Architecture, along with significant industry experience. Regular travel to Genting Highlands is expected, and proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in landscape architecture is required.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various tasks.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Job description

Plans, executes events, and leads teams from initial concept to successful completion, managing milestones and deadlines. Coordinates with internal teams and contractors to ensure event success.

Assists the VP and Project Manager in managing design and innovation matters, including team operations, development of construction details, and research on design trends and ideas.

Contributes to creative ideas, concept innovations, design development, visualization, and preparation of presentation materials.

Prepares design intents, material selection, and cost estimates from conceptual to development stages.

Attends meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors, both written and verbal, including site inspections for safety and structural conditions.

Supports planning related to marketing, sustainability, finance, and maintenance as needed.

Assists landscape team with review of presentations, proposals, drawings, and quotations related to landscape projects.

Collaborates with internal departments and external partners to meet deadlines and budgets.

Follows up with clients post-project to ensure satisfaction and maintain future business relationships.

Prepares detailed and submission drawings, construction documents, and ensures compliance with project requirements.

Supports the Project Manager during construction to ensure accurate implementation of design intentions.

Handles landscape-related matters in Genting’s software systems such as Ariba, GCP, SAP, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Landscape Architecture with 5-7+ years of experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, multi-task, and adapt.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office; experience with Sketchup or Lumion advantageous.
• Languages: English, Mandarin, Malay; Mandarin proficiency preferred.
• Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to Genting Highlands regularly.
