Assistant Project Manager - (Fit out) - Retail/ Mall Experience

• Assist the Manager and Senior Manager in delivering projects according to expectations.
• Support in planning and managing outlet expansion, refurbishment, and fit-out for retail mall spaces from design to completion.
• Collaborate with tenants, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings for tenant fit-outs to ensure compliance with mall standards and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety standards, and mall design guidelines.
• Oversee site activities, ensuring workmanship and materials meet standards.
• Monitor project progress and resolve on-site issues to prevent delays.
• Ensure timely and within-budget completion of fit-out works.
• Act as the primary contact for tenants, addressing concerns and coordinating approvals.
• Report regularly to the Senior Manager and management on project status and issues.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets and expenditures.
• Review contractor claims and variation orders for accuracy.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, M&E, or C&S.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, construction, or fit-out works, preferably in retail or commercial sectors.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, C&S, and M&E.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
• Knowledge of local construction laws and standards.
• Regular site visits and inspections are required.
