Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Demonstrate experience in scheduling, construction oversight, site planning, change management, commissioning, reporting, document management, and contract administration.
  2. Ensure timely completion of projects in terms of quality, time, and cost, with all works carried out safely, in accordance with specifications, and within budget.
  3. Coordinate and integrate the efforts of all project contributors.
  4. Resolve construction-related issues and mitigate potential project risks.
  5. Attend progress meetings with clients and internal teams.
  6. Monitor and report project progress, including milestones and conditions affecting cost, schedule, quality, or risk profile, to the Director.
  7. Develop recommendations and action plans to address issues or risks impacting project success.
  8. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  9. Establish good working relationships with clients, consultants, and local authorities.
  10. Formulate work schedules and submission programs in line with project requirements and specifications.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
  12. Research potential suppliers, evaluate their quality, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely receipt of supplies.
Job Requirements
  • Possess at least a Bachelor's or Professional Degree in Building, Civil, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant disciplines.
  • Have more than 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required; Mandarin proficiency is essential for liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
  • Strong project leadership skills, team-building abilities, and in-depth knowledge of CIDB renewal, construction procedures, statutory by-laws, and collaboration with stakeholders.
