Surbana Jurong is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with extensive project management experience in hydropower to oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of project activities in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

You will coordinate with local and international stakeholders, prepare key project documents, and support business development while ensuring compliance with standards and governance. Fluent English required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of design and project management experience in hydropower or dam projects.
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling techniques.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Project Management Support.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing project activities.
• Support the management of hydropower projects from inception to completion.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation measures.
• Coordinate tasks and deliverables across internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Control project inputs and outputs, document requests for information and query registers.
• Liaise with local and international clients, contractors, and consultants, providing regular updates and reports.
• Organize and participate in project meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
• Prepare project management documentation, including team organisation charts, progress reports, risk registers, and cost tracking.
• Undertake internal project monthly reviews and project planning.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, tenders, and technical submissions for new opportunities.
• Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and assist in proposal development whilst complying with internal governance procedures.
• Support marketing and client engagement activities as required.
• Apply engineering knowledge to support design reviews and technical assessments.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support quality assurance processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management Support
