Verdant Solar Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s trusted solar energy provider, seeks a Project Engineer Assistant to support both project management and technical execution. This 3-month contract starts December 2026 and offers hands-on exposure to BESS and EV system installations.

The Project Engineer Assistant plays a critical support role in daily operations across both project management and technical execution!

What You'll Do:

Project Management & Coordination: Manage system configurations for handover projects and support installation delivery targets (NOI). Coordinate installer schedules, maintain project documentation, and provide backup coverage for senior Project Engineers as needed.

Technical & Quality Support: Ensure high-quality installations by performing pre- and post-installation audit checklists alongside 30-day performance checks. Handle 1st-line technical troubleshooting, resolve defect tickets, support product failure diagnosis, and develop hands‑on expertise with BESS and EV system installations.

Service Operations & Field Requests: Support field operations by conducting site surveys for special requests and performing client follow‑up visits. Manage service tickets, handle customer communications, and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for BESS system commissioning.

What We’re Looking For:

Able to commit to a 3-month contract starting in December 2026.

Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or technical support (fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome to apply!); renewable or EV experience is a plus.

Possesses own transport and willing to travel for site visits, installations, and site supervision.

Independent and detail-oriented professional with a strong sense of accountability and commitment to high-quality standards.

Adaptable problem-solver capable of thinking critically and responding quickly to on-site issues in a fast-paced environment.
