What a typical day looks like:
Guides and coordinates activities of employees engaged in manufacturing processes such as multi-level assembly, electronic card/system testing, and quality assurance to meet production goals related to cost, quality, and delivery.
Oversees department activities to support new product design, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and assist in test procedures.
Explores technological trends and market demand to plan projects.
Collaborates with management, production, and marketing teams to resolve manufacturing feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer demand issues for new and existing products.
Forecasts operating costs and prepares budget requests.
Participates in developing strategic and annual operating plans.
Reviews and determines material, equipment, and manpower needs.
Prioritizes production schedules based on product launches, equipment efficiency, and material supply to meet customer needs.
Coordinates with other functional groups like planning and distribution.
Develops personnel to ensure efficient production operations.
Ensures manufacturing operations meet quality and cost targets.
Handles complex problems involving evaluation of intangible factors.
Reviews budgets and schedules as required by management.
Maintains relationships with executives and major customers.
Resolves conflicts, negotiates with customers, and influences management decisions.
Required experience:
Experience in PCBA and SMT processes.
Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
