Oversee all daily operations of production and manufacturing to ensure policies and procedures are followed. Develop the team and processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.

Job Performance Measurement

• Meet all production targets
• Achieve the target uptime of machinery and equipment
• Meet all government and regulatory requirements
• Meet the operating target cost
• Ensure that there are no customer complaints
• Work with HR to ensure timely replacement of staff

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and run daily operations to meet customer expectations and environmental requirements
• Handle duties as a competent person
• Increase production, asset capacity, and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards
• Manage production input, output, storage, and logistics
• Allocate resources effectively and utilize assets optimally
• Implement strategies aligned with management plans to achieve targets
• Lead the team; coordinate operations, monitor performance, and initiate corrective actions
• Manage and develop plant staff
• Analyze data to minimize waste and overtime
• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures
• Develop systems to track and optimize productivity and performance
• Establish preventive maintenance for machinery
• Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications / Experience

• Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Experience in the scheduled waste industry is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Salary will be based on experience and disclosed during interview
