Qualifications

about the job

  • Act as the procurement business partner for Malaysia and Singapore operations
  • Lead and manage third-party spend across all categories
  • Develop and execute country-level procurement strategies aligned with business goals
  • Conduct strategic sourcing, tenders, and offer evaluations
  • Implement category management for cost optimization and standardization
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; negotiate contracts and SLAs
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Oversee end-to-end procurement operations ensuring efficiency and compliance
  • Support and lead procurement-related system implementations and change management
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks
  • Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and internal procurement policies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business needs
  • Contribute to budgeting processes and value creation initiatives
  • Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and procurement innovations

about the requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of procurement experience (experience in both Indirect and Direct categories preferred)
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Tech-savvy with solid procurement system knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High level of integrity, enthusiasm, and motivation
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
