Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the procurement team to ensure timely execution of purchasing activities aligned with MRP demand and production schedules.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for PCBA and electronic components, including cost optimization, lead time reduction, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, planning, and quality teams to ensure procurement supports changing design, delivery, and material requirements.
• Manage and approve purchase orders and ensure accuracy in pricing, delivery schedules, and quantity based on demand forecasts.
• Oversee and coordinate responses to engineering changes (ECR/ECN/ECO) to minimize impact on production and inventory.
• Lead resolution of MOQ constraints, DOA, RMA, and other supply-related escalations.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and initiate improvement plans or corrective actions as necessary.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, including PO automation, inventory control, and supplier evaluation.
• Support the Procurement Manager in strategic projects, supplier audits, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical sourcing standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of procurement experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or assistant manager role, preferably in the electronics or EMS industry.
• Strong knowledge of electronic/PCBA components, MRP systems, and end-to-end procurement processes.
• Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, and procurement analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage cross-functional expectations.
• High level of ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is required to liaise with suppliers from China and Taiwan.
