Job Summary:

My client is looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Plant Manager to support the daily operations of our construction materials manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production line, maintenance, solid panel production, production control, and delivery operations. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the plant while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Plant Manager in the overall management of plant operations.
• Supervise day-to-day production activities, ensuring output targets and quality standards are met.
• Oversee maintenance operations to minimize downtime and maintain equipment efficiency.
• Manage the solid panel production process, ensuring product consistency and compliance with specifications.
• Implement and monitor effective production control systems for scheduling, inventory, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely shipment of products to clients.
• Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the construction materials industry.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially in production and maintenance environments.
• Solid leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with production planning and control systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant production management software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
