A leading UK construction firm is seeking an Assistant Planner to join their Environment Agency team. You will support projects on coastal protection, flood defences, and reservoir improvements. The ideal candidate has civil engineering planning experience, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with NEC contract conditions. This position offers a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of flexible hours, including part-time options.
We're looking for an Assistant Planner to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in the Southwest.
Location: Exeter, Devon - some remote working available, with regular travel to the office required
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available including part-time if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Contract: 12 month Fixed Term Contract
As an Assistant Planner, you'll be working within the Environment Agency team, supporting them by working on projects within our Environment Agency Collaborative Delivery Framework. The works include but are not limited to coastal protection, flood defences, reservoir improvements & debris screen replacements. This role will suit someone with small to medium scale civil engineering infrastructure project experience, in the NEC contract environment.
