Company Background

Our client; a leading travel agency and trusted general sales agent with over 30 years of experience is looking for Assistant Operations Manager to join their team!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operations Manager with day-to-day tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and maintaining operational efficiency across all departments.
  • Provide direct leadership and supervision to the ticketing, customer service, and business development teams. This includes coaching, mentoring, performance management, and ensuring team members have the resources and support to succeed.
  • Oversee the ticketing process for flights, ensuring accuracy, adherence to airline regulations, and meeting team performance goals.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service across all departments by setting standards, monitoring performance, and implementing improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with the business development team to develop and implement strategies for acquiring new clients and promoting the services.
  • Monitor and manage flight inventory to ensure availability and optimize sales.
  • Develop and implement training programs for the teams to stay updated on airline regulations, travel industry trends, airline's latest offerings.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/ Tourism Management or any related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in travel agency operations or related field.
  • Strong understanding of airline ticketing procedures and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with a proven track record of motivating and developing teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Working hours : Mon - Fri (9am 5pm) & Sat (9am - 1pm)
