To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Operations Manager located in Flex PTP.

Reporting to the Production Director, the Operations Manager role is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of personnel engaged in manufacturing, including multi-level assembly, electronic card/system testing, and quality assurance, to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

What a typical day looks like:

1. Develop and manage tracking systems for analyzing production rates and product quality, and identifying production issues before they arise.
2. Coordinate manufacturing staff to maximize efficiency, including creating schedules, managing labor costs, and providing instructions based on work orders.
3. Manage inventory to ensure supply needs are met promptly, placing orders in advance to prevent depletion.
4. Fulfill administrative duties, including completing production reports and shift overviews that detail production rates and worker performances.
5. Present production information to management, including suggestions for improvements and strategies for implementing these suggestions.
6. Train new staff to ensure consistent performance levels across the team, with new recruits reaching expected performance within two weeks.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, along with 8 years of operations experience. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to present information effectively to top management and public groups.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
