Overview:
We are looking for Assistant Operation General Manager in Vietnam to support the Farm General Manager in leading and overseeing daily farm operations. This role includes managing production, quality, safety, and business performance, with a strong focus on operational excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the GM in managing all farm operations, including egg production, feed mill, fertilizer plant, maintenance, QA/QC, warehousing, and logistics.

Plan and manage production to ensure optimal output, efficiency, and cost control.

Oversee the implementation of quality and food safety systems in compliance with regulations and company standards.

Participate in budgeting, financial planning, capital expenditure, and cost monitoring.

Lead the setup and commissioning of new layer farms or facilities, including infrastructure, operations, and staffing.

Manage and execute projects from planning to completion, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.

Coordinate with upper management and stakeholders to report progress, KPIs, and strategic updates.

Foster a strong team culture, providing leadership, guidance, and development opportunities for staff.

Ensure a safe, healthy working environment and maintain strict biosecurity protocols.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in any discipline; background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

At least 15 years of experience in the poultry or manufacturing industry, with a minimum of 8 years in a managerial role.

Proven experience in setting up new companies or poultry farms, and managing end-to-end project execution.

Knowledge in livestock farming, food and drug safety, biosecurity, and environmental standards is a plus.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Business-savvy with a strategic mindset and high integrity.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluent in English; Vietnamese language skills are an advantage.

Willing to be based in Vietnam.
