Job Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems, including DC and LV components and connections.
- Manage scheduling for corrective, preventive, or predictive maintenance of solar PV systems, initiate fault diagnosis, and perform corrective actions as per Service Level Agreement.
- Manage key client accounts to fulfill the requirements outlined in the O&M Agreement.
- Oversee the internal handover process for assigned projects.
- Conduct QA & QC inspections during project execution to ensure quality standards are met.
- Establish effective communication channels and maintain proper documentation and records.
- Supervise and monitor work related to solar PV systems performed by contractors.
- Assist the Engineer in processing quotations, invoices, purchase orders, work orders, delivery orders, and payment statuses for vendors.
- Prepare Inspection Reports, Preventive Maintenance Reports, and warranty claim reports for products such as inverters, PV modules, and data loggers.
- Provide regular reports on system operation and performance, including electricity production, efficiency, maintenance, outages, inspection results, and equipment adjustments.
- Manage and maintain the company vehicle (if applicable).
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Support O&M activities in the Southern region as instructed by the Engineer.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in operating and controlling low voltage electrical equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical and solar PV theory and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and Electricity Regulations 1994.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Certified Electrical Supervisor by the Energy Commission (ST) is an advantage.
- Certified LV Chargeman is an advantage.
- Computer literate.
- Customer-oriented, independent, with good interpersonal skills.
- Valid driving license D and GDL; willing to base in Johor Bahru, Johor.
- Proficient in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, verbally and in writing.
- Physically and mentally fit.
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
- Able to work at regional sites as needed.
