Our #MKAGarageRetailTeam is expanding! We are looking for the Assistant Merchandising Manager to manage and oversee presentation, promotion, and sales of our automotive products within the garage retail environment. You will be developing and implementing merchandising strategies, analyzing sales data, forecasting sales and inventory levels, including managing product assortments. The objective is to optimize product visibility, drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
Developing and Implementing Merchandising Strategies:
Plan product displays, promotions and signage to maximize sales and create a positive and engaging customer experience.
Identify trends, predict future demand and make informed decisions about product selection and placement.
Forecasting Sales and Inventory:
Forecast sales and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Managing Product Assortments:
Select and manage product assortments to ensure they meet customer needs and align with company goals.
Collaborating with Buyers and Suppliers:
Work with Supply Chain / Warehouse / Logistics teams to optimize product placement, pricing and promotions.
Oversee the management of product displays in-store, ensuring they adhere to company standards.Briefing staff on stock display and rotation to ensure every space is optimized.Assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and store layouts or planogram on sales figures
Optimizing Open-to-Buy (OTB) and Inventory Planning:
Manage OTB and inventory planning to ensure optimal stock levels and meet sales targets.
Monitoring and Adjusting Plans:
Monitor and adjust purchasing plans based on actual performance and market dynamics to optimize inventory investment.Carry out evaluation of product performance through sales and consumer feedback.
Reporting
Prepare weekly report on work progress and updates for superior / meeting purposes.
Any other ad-hoc as assigned and/or required by superior.
Requirements
