We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Assistant Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. The Assistant Marketing Manager will support the Senior Marketing Manager in strategizing, executing, and managing various marketing initiatives across all brands under the company. This role will involve collaborating with multiple departments and stakeholders to drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:

A&P

  • Assist the Senior Marketing Manager in developing and executing marketing plans for all brands under the company, ensuring activities drive incremental revenue and maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with brand teams to align marketing efforts and create cohesive strategies across all product lines.
  • Coordinate with operational teams (store, warehouse, finance, visual merchandising) to ensure the seamless execution of promotional campaigns and events with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Support media planning, including selecting media channels, negotiating ad placements, and securing the best possible rates and positions for all brands.
  • Identify and develop cross-promotional opportunities to expand the customer database and increase brand awareness.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns through response rates, attendance, and sales patterns to optimize future marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in managing the overall marketing budget, ensuring that expenditures are within allocated limits and projects are executed efficiently.

Market Research

  • Engage in regular market intelligence gathering & conduct annual competitor analysis.

PR

  • Assist with press liaison activities to maximize editorial coverage, fashions spreads & exclusive features.
  • Responsible for increasing company visibility by leveraging C21’s media buys with target publications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers, media contacts, and fashion editors to support PR efforts and brand visibility.

Digital Marketing

  • Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager to implement digital marketing campaigns across various platforms for all brands.
  • Monitor and engage with social media channels, responding to customer inquiries and managing potential reputational risks.
  • Stay up to date on digital marketing trends and contribute ideas to enhance the digital marketing strategies for the company’s brands.

Others

  • To undertake ad-hoc projects assigned by the senior management of the company.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in marketing. Experience in multi-brand and luxury retail (fashion/beauty) environment is an added advantage.
  • Highly articulate in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Literacy in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • A resourceful team player who is outgoing, pleasant, creative and independent.
  • Excellent networking skills and has strong relationship with key opinion leaders, local media and press; preferably fashion editors and writers.
  • Excellent planning, organising and presentation skills. Highly resourceful, proactive, creative and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
