Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and strengthen carrier relationships on operational levels.
  2. Support sea logistics procurement and carrier relation management.
  3. Execute pricing strategies by liaising on pricing and RFQ preparation.
  4. Actively exchange information/knowledge within the team and other stakeholders.
  5. Stakeholder management including working with sales, agents, and commercial department to review and conduct sourcing strategy, ensuring that categories and products deliver the strategy.
  6. Provide timely responses to rate requests, finding mutual solutions for profit maximization.
  7. Set selling prices within given bandwidths as per local conditions and pricing policy.
  8. Direct the organization to book shipments based on carrier agreements or lowest rates.
  9. Ensure full transparency on current freight rate levels with Customer Service and Sales Team.
  10. Support and exchange information with others to gain new, retain, or further develop existing accounts.
  11. Get involved and assist business owners for non-standard RFQ related requests.
  12. Seek out customer feedback to drive improvements.
  13. Ensure that databases are always up to date with the most relevant pricing information.
  14. Responsible for departmental performance and staff progress development.
  15. To carry out any other duties as instructed by superior from time to time.
  16. To perform any other duties as required by the Management from time to time.

Qualifications

- Education Background: Bachelor's degree in any field.

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics (sea freight) (MUST).

- Required Skills:

  1. Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of logistics, warehouse services, and fulfillment operations.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and influence at all levels of the organization.
  4. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
