A leading insurance company seeks an Assistant Manager, focusing on underwriting and risk management. This role involves supporting insurance processes, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating closely with sales teams to drive business growth. Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and substantial expertise in underwriting and risk management.

Support the underwriting process by assisting in the management and monitoring of large risk accounts, including preparation of necessary reports and referrals.
Collaborate with the Risk Management Team to coordinate survey requirements and review risk assessments using tools such as LC360.
Assist in conducting pre-risk acceptance surveys and provide technical assistance, including training and advisory support.
Prepare and present regular strategic reports and analyses to aid decision-making processes.
Work closely with the Sales Team to develop new business opportunities with brokers, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Support the profitability of renewal retention and organic growth to meet budget targets.
Facilitate meetings with support teams to discuss production matters and action plans, promoting Allianz products and services.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform tasks as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) or immediate manager, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.
Maintain proper filing records, including e-filing, for ease of reference and compliance purposes.
Ensure credit control and operating cost control are within company targets, supporting financial stability and efficiency.
The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of underwriting practices and supporting the company's strategic goals through effective risk management and business development.
Ability to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance strategies and process improvement
Important to your success:
Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field
3–6 years of relevant experience in insurance underwriting, risk management, or business development.
Experience in commercial lines, technical underwriting, or risk assessment tools (e.g., LC360) is highly valued
Strong understanding of Generalinsurance products, underwriting principles, and risk evaluation.
