Job description

Job Purpose

·Implement the Sustainable Supply Chain Program to align with Sime Darby Property's sustainability objectives and operationalize the Responsible Supply Chain Framework across all activities.

Support the development and execution of procurement policies, procedures, authorities, and systems, ensuring efficient and sustainable procurement practices within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

· Strategic

  • Support sustainable procurement strategies aligned with Sime Darby Property’s sustainability goals. Research and recommend best practices for integrating ESG criteria into vendor selection and management.

· Operations

  • Implement and refine policies for effective Sustainable Supply Chain programs.
  • Enhance vendor ESG performance through strategic initiatives.

· Stakeholder Management

  • Lead the adoption of sustainable procurement practices to align with corporate and sustainability objectives.

Job Dimension

· Implementation of Sustainable Supply Chain programs aligned with corporate sustainability objectives.

· Ensure timely reporting and scheduling to track progress towards targets.

· Engage with stakeholders to establish strategic partnerships.

· Ensure compliance in all Procurement ESG and Procurement Systems activities.

Education / Professional Qualification

A degree in Economics, Sustainability, Business, or another related field is essential.

Skills:

  • Adept in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Expertise in business writing, encompassing policies, business cases, approvals, and more.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a relevant role is required.
