Job description

THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN KLK OLEO, PETALING JAYA, SELANGOR

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Sustainability Manager(s) in implementing and managing sustainability initiatives.
• Support the development and implementation of sustainability strategies, goals, and initiatives that align with the organization's missions and values.
• Conduct research and analysis on sustainability trends, best practices and emerging issues to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability programmes and initiatives such as responsible sourcing, supply chain management, carbon footprints, energy efficiency, etc.
• Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in communicating the organisation's sustainability efforts and achievements to stakeholders.
• Support the development of sustainability-related policies, procedures and training materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the organisation's sustainability objectives.

JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or MSc in sustainability-related field such as Sustainability, and Environment Science with at least 5 years of experience in sustainability role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledgeable and familiar with sustainability framework, regulations and policies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
