Develop and maintain demand forecasting models to accurately predict product demand, analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other factors to make accurate demand predictions.
Effectively build the promotion uplifts and manage trend, seasonality with respect to the DFI Banner stores
Collaborate with commercial, operations and vendors to ensure timely availability of products
Create the supply planning plan in collaboration with supply partner and monitor inventory levels and adjust replenishment orders as needed
Analyse data and use it to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvement
Participate in the development and implementation of inventory management strategies
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as fill rate and inventory accuracy
Utilize analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
Supplier collaboration & management on performance metrics and end-to-end planning execution.
Inventory Management - Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess or obsolete stock. Monitor stock levels, track inventory turnover, and implement strategies to prevent stockouts or overstocks.
Supervise & develop bench strength & capability of a small team of supply chain executives.
Supplier Collaboration: Engage & build relationships with suppliers, establish joint-forecasting and performance metrics to ensure a steady and timely service level.
Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements and efficiency measures to enhance the overall performance of the supply chain. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends to incorporate into the supply chain strategy.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor external factors such as geopolitical events, natural disasters, and economic changes that may impact the supply chain.
Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow of information throughout the supply chain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement solutions.
Do you have experience in Supply Chain?
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, and/or relevant field
Minimum 5 years of working experience in a supply chain/demand planning role
Experienced in forecasting, data analytics, inventory planning, supply chain concepts, statistical forecasting, and related processes
Proficient in advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Tools
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and planning skills
