Assistant Manager / Supervisor (Non-Halal Restaurant)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Supervisor to join our dynamic non-halal restaurant team in The Brew House Penang. As a key member of our management group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving the continued success of our thriving establishment.

What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure efficient service delivery

Lead, train, and motivate a team of servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences

Monitor inventory, manage staff schedules, and implement cost-control measures to maximise profitability

Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner

Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth and innovation

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a non-halal restaurant setting

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage a dynamic team

Strong understanding of operational and financial management practices in the restaurant industry

Proficiency in food safety and regulatory compliance

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, to meet the needs of the business
