Get to Know the Role

As a Strategic Finance and Investor Relations Assistant Manager, you will work closely to develop (i) the company's strategic finance activities including financial forecasting, benchmarking, optimization and resource allocation as well as (ii) managing analyst and investor relationships, building investor targeting strategies, and managing various IR-related events.

This role will report to Head, Financial Services Strategic Finance, Investor Relations, based onsite at our PJ Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Develop and maintain detailed, accurate financial models to evaluate business growth opportunities and risks.
  • Conduct scenario-based financial simulations to support strategic leadership decisions.
  • Translate financial analyses into concise, impactful insights for external stakeholders, including investors and analysts.
  • Gather and summarize relevant market and industry data to refine Grab's positioning and narrative.
  • Collaborate with leadership to present key strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively in presentations and meetings.
  • Identify trends or insights within financial data to continuously improve decision-making frameworks.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • A degree with good honors from a top tier university in any discipline (Finance and Accountancy degree a plus)
  • More than 3 years of experience working in a top-tier sell-side research, investment banking, investment/asset management, or consulting firm
  • Advanced Excel skills in building complex financial models.
  • Translate business requirements / queries into financial analysis and financial projections/models.
  • Commercial background/experience will be a plus.
  • Able to speak and present in a way that inspires confidence
  • Deal with multiple internal stakeholders across all management levels, as well as external stakeholders.
