Responsibilities

  1. Handling full set of Export shipping documentation and preparing the necessary shipping documents for Bank negotiation including Invoices, Packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, etc.
  2. Liaise and follow-up internally with forwarders / carriers for shipment / delivery status located all over the world.
  3. Manage day-to-day shipping transaction of the Trading Companies.
  4. Ensure full Letter of Credit (L/C) compliances.
  5. Support ad hoc and any other duties as required in the department or by Shipping Team Lead/Manager.
  6. Lead and manage team members, supporting in their professional development.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of work.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any related field.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience in a leadership or team management role.
  • Good communications & interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to be based at Georgetown, Penang.
