• Position: Assistant Manager / Senior Executive – HR (Legal & Compliance)

Are you an experienced HR professional with a solid background in regulatory compliance and statutory processes? MUCM invites individuals with at least 5 years of hands-on HR experience, especially in HR legal and government liaison matters, to join our mission of excellence in higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all Immigration-related processes, including applications, renewals, and cancellations of expatriate employment passes (EP), liaison with ESD and Immigration authorities, and ensuring full regulatory compliance for all expatriate staff.

• Oversee compliance with professional councils, specifically the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and Malaysian Dental Council (MDC), including handling Full Registration and APC renewals.

• Manage overall HR compliance and internal audit matters, ensuring alignment with Malaysian labour laws, the Employment Act 1955, and the Private Higher Educational Institutions Act (Act 555).

• Liaise with government and statutory bodies including MOHE, JTK, EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, for inspections, institutional approvals, and related regulatory matters.

• Maintain and update all HR documentation related to MOHE audits, internal compliance checks, licensing renewals, and statutory filings.
