Job summary

AIA Digital+ is looking for an experienced SAP Development & Integration consultant to work on enhancement and rollout projects. The successful candidate will design and develop integration solutions, ensuring thorough documentation and collaboration with various functional teams. With a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in SAP PO and ABAP, you will contribute to critical business requirements and support a team dedicated to innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in SAP Process Orchestration (PO) and ABAP development for integration.
• Experience in SAP HANA and Business Technology Platform is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of non-SAP integration platforms and modern integration architectures preferred.

Work as an internal SAP Development & Integration consultant, supporting enhancement and rollout projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customize integration solutions to fulfill business requirements, using SAP PI/PO (ESR and ID), SAP ABAP (Proxies, OData API, Function Modules, SOAP Web Service), and/or BTP.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager or Delivery Lead to estimate effort and formulate project plans.
• Work closely with functional and business teams to understand requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Develop and fine-tune codes (Java mapping, XSLT mapping, UDFs, ABAP) following AIA coding standards and guidelines.
• Document technical designs and specifications.
• Participate in Peer Code Reviews as part of quality assurance.
• Provide hyper-care support and transfer knowledge to the support team.
• Maintain development and integration inventory lists, ensuring they are up-to-date.
• Assist in RFP processes or vendor/product evaluations.
• Serve as escalation point for support issues.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in SAP Process Orchestration (PO), with SAP ABAP development experience for integration.
• Experience with SAP HANA development and Business Technology Platform is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of non-SAP integration platforms like Boomi, Mulesoft, or Workato is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern integration architectures such as SOA and EDA is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in at least 3 end-to-end system implementations or rollouts as an integration engineer/consultant/lead.
• Up-to-date with SAP system trends and technologies.
• Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous.
