Job Objective

The Assistant Manager, Marketing & Sales (Billboard Advertising) is responsible for driving new sales opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This role supports executives in managing client accounts and securing new deals, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness. Additionally, the role plays a key part in facilitating effective communication and workflow between the sales & marketing and project development departments to align sales activities with overall project goals.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Secure New Sales

Approach new prospects by phone calls and emails.

Appointments & presentation to clients by preparing proposals /quotations.

Co-ordinate with the marketing clerk in Sales kit preparation.

Negotiate in costing / quotation with General Manager (if below minimum rental rates).

Follow up with clients after presentations.

Site recce with clients (if required).

Prepare & proof read new Agreements / Contracts.

Liaise with development department during construction of new structures, production, installation, etc.

Service clients on queries, complaints, breakdown lighting, etc.

Liaise with development department regarding complaints / breakdowns.

Prepare formal / informal letters to reply client’s queries / complaints.

Fulfill client’s queries / reasonable demands (e.g. trimming trees, market survey, extra photo proof, etc.)

Provide photo proofs (day & nights) to clients upon in-charge.

Site recce with clients (after in-charge) should the client request.

Follow-up on payments.

Entertain clients, when required.

Follow-up on renewal contract and propose new sites to existing clients.

Assist Sales & Marketing Executives in Maintaining Existing Clients & Securing / Close New Sales

Assist and advise staff on costing and quotation.

Discuss and find staff problems on closing deal. Give advice and suggestions.

Ensure Effective Working Flow Between Sales & Marketing and Project Development Department

Co-ordinate on visual production, printing, etc and on visual approval from DBP & local council.

Liaise and advise on tree trimming, lighting issues, etc.

Additional Responsibilities

Assist in Execution on Ad-Hoc Projects, as and when required by General Manager, Head Alloy Advertising Sdn Bhd

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field

Minimum 7 years of experience.

Knowledge in Outdoor Advertising Business is an advantage
