Job description

Involve Asia, a leading performance-based affiliate marketing company, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Assistant Manager to join our fast-growing team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for driving revenue and market share by acquiring new advertisers – primarily both local and global brands – to join our affiliate network, product and solutions. You will be the face of Involve Asia to these potential advertisers, building strong relationships and demonstrating the value our platform brings to their business.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential local and global brand advertisers across various industries from marketplaces, fashion, travel, health & beauty, services, and financial. Actively utilizing networking events, cold calling, lead generation tools, and strategic partnerships.
  • Business Development Plan: Map out the business opportunities for local and global advertisers and execute strategies to grow their affiliate program.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and cultivate trusting relationships with prospective advertisers, understanding their needs and challenges to offer tailored solutions.
  • Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Deliver compelling presentations showcasing the benefits of joining our affiliate network and subscribing to products and solutions. Effectively negotiate pricing and contract terms while ensuring profitability.
  • Onboarding and Account Management: Provide hands-on onboarding support to new advertisers, ensuring smooth integration into our platform and maximizing their success. Build long-term relationships by actively managing accounts and proactively identifying growth opportunities.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across Integration, Partnerships, Validation, and Finance to ensure seamless onboarding and contract execution. This includes actively participating in negotiations, providing necessary documentation, and addressing any technical or financial concerns.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Keep track of industry trends and identify new market segments to expand our reach and target new advertiser opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across Sales, Marketing, and Account Management to develop and implement effective acquisition strategies.
  • CRM Management: Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system timely and accurately with all relevant client interactions, sales progress, and account information, ensuring data integrity and facilitating effective tracking and reporting.

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, ideally within the digital marketing, advertising, media sales, marketing technology, or affiliate marketing industry, with at least 2-3 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of performance-based marketing, the affiliate marketing landscape, and consumer trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and driven to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with sales tools and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex projects is highly desirable.
