A leading financial services firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee revenue operations. This role involves fee computation, accurate billing, and reporting in compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

This position supports the end-to-end revenue operations, including the computation of fees and cost of sales, accurate billing, revenue recognition, and receivables management following and complying to the applicable internal company policies, guidelines, standard operating procedures. It involves preparing reconciliations and reports, supporting regulatory and Group reporting in accordance with regulatory and Group reporting requirements, and addressing internal and external stakeholder queries. This position ensures data accuracy across systems, supports audits and risk controls, and upholds strong internal controls. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and driving process improvements and automation are also key aspects of the role.1. Understand the structures of the various funds and the related fees/expenses and perform the necessary computation of revenue and cost of sales.
2. Responsible for prompt billing to the Clients as well as prompt collections of receivables.
3. Responsible for recording the accounts receivables as well as revenue and cost of sales accruals and ensure all relevant details are included (e.g. fund code, channel, and intercompany entity) to ensure that meaningful revenue/product/channel/business line analysis.
4. Prepare necessary schedules and reconciliations.
5. Address various stakeholders’ (e.g. Client, regulator, management and internal stakeholder) queries on invoices, revenue and Fund Under Management.
6. Works with operations, data and business partner teams to ensure the Fund Under Management and revenue are correctly recorded in the various systems (e.g. Hera and Oracle).
7. Work with the Accounts Payable team to ensure payments to vendors are made on time and accurately.
8. Responsible for Group reporting of revenue related items.
9. Ensure the Fund Under Management are correctly recorded and tagged in the system.
10. Perform monthly revenue analysis by product.
1. Liaise with Clients to address revenue queries and ensure timely collections.
12. Handle regulatory reporting and monitoring, particularly on the revenue aspect.
13. Assist with internal audit, external audit, risk controls and any ISAE audit for revenue operations.
14. Ensure adherence to effective and robust internal controls for the various revenue areas.
15. Actively seek to deliver improvement in data, processes and output and streamline/automate existing workflows and processes.
16. Assist in ad-hoc requests, Finance initiatives or projects.
Minimum Job Requirement
Qualification:
1. Bachelor or Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
2. Internationally recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAEW, etc.) or working towards designation will be an added advantage.
Relevant Experience:
1. At least 5 years of commercial working experience.
2. Prior experience from Big 4 audit firm and /or financial services industry especially Fund Management would be preferred.

Special Business Knowledge and Skills:
1. Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent MS Excel skills.
2. Knowledge of Oracle, Coupa and/or OneStream will be an added advantage.
