Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Release, Demand and Incident specialist to lead the end-to-end planning and coordination of SPM@Asia system changes and releases across Mercedes Benz Parts and logistics systems. This role also owns the incident management process, ensuring timely resolution of SPM@Asia related incidents.
Responsibilities & Key Outcomes:
Release & Change Management:
- Plan and manage release cycles for SPM@Asia.
- Ensure releases comply with change management processes, assessing operational risk, impact, and readiness.
- Maintain a release calendar and communicate transparently with stakeholders.
- Lead release planning meetings and change assessments.
- Coordinate with Line Function Lead, MBRDI, Global team for deployment with minimal impact.
- Monitor post-release stability, log issues, and lead root cause analysis.
Demand Management:
- Manage intake, evaluation, and prioritization of demands, including system enhancements and change requests.
- Facilitate prioritization workshops with business and IT leads.
- Support budgeting and resource planning based on demand analysis.
- Lead response to high-priority incidents, assembling technical teams for resolution.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide updates to management.
- Escalate issues per SLAs and business impact.
Process Management:
- Log, categorize, prioritize, and resolve incidents per SLA.
- Document incidents and analyze trends for improvements.
- Facilitate post-incident reviews and implement corrective actions.
- Work with problem management to identify root causes.
- Review and improve incident management processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in release, demand, and incident management.
- Experience in international projects, project management, and coordination across teams.
Skills & Knowledge
- Project Management: Experience as a sub-project lead in SAP projects, coordinating global teams, familiar with SCRUM, SAFe, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, critical thinking.
