Ensures that the structure and processes needed for the quality and health care management system are established, maintained, and implemented in CVSKL.
Responsible for the effective implementation and maintenance of accreditation to quality standards such as MSQH. Leads in the preparation and coordination of licensing and audit matters, reviews hospital-level policies and procedures, and works with departments to meet and exceed accreditation and licensing requirements.
Ensures that customer expectations guide the development and continuous improvement of processes, products, and services. Serves as a customer advocate in resolving concerns and initiating performance improvement activities.
Facilitates projects involving process improvements using PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) and other quality improvement tools.
Trains staff in the use of process improvement methodologies and educates staff on new standards and regulatory requirements.
