Assistant Manager, Property Management & Customer Service

As an Assistant Manager of Property Management & Customer Service with Wing Tai Malaysia Property Management Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and enhancing the customer experience for our residential property portfolio in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This is a full-time position that offers a dynamic and rewarding career with a leading property management firm.

Key responsibilities

  • Attend to customer feedback professionally in compliance with company standards and ensure resolution satisfaction within company KPIs.
  • Initiate Pre-Handover inspection process & coordinate meetings with departments and contractors to ensure properties are prepared and compliant for timely Vacant Possessions (VP).
  • Ensure all Handover Kits and VIP procedures, including documents, are thoroughly prepared in advance to facilitate smooth handovers.
  • Organize weekly meetings with relevant departments and main contractors to monitor defect complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers/residents.
  • Source and coordinate with vendors or contractors for building maintenance and repairs.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma/Degree in Property Management/Real Estate, Building Management, or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of managerial experience in Property Management & Customer Service, managing high-rise residential developments and gated communities.
  • Knowledge in Building Maintenance & Management, good communication and interpersonal skills, leadership, organization skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with property or defect management platforms, handling customer complaints, and problem-solving skills. In-depth understanding of SMA 2013, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Strong knowledge of Housing Development Act & current trends.
