Monitor the upkeep of all restaurant facilities, including kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.

Perform regular inspections to identify and troubleshoot issues, addressing them promptly.

Coordinate with third-party service providers for repairs, maintenance, and servicing.

Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure equipment and facilities are running efficiently.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards for restaurant facilities.

Project Management:

Lead the planning and execution of projects related to restaurant openings, renovations, or upgrades.

Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and manage project budgets.

Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.

Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or systems within the restaurant.

Provide progress reports to senior management on project status, budget, and timelines.

Identify and manage relationships with maintenance contractors, service vendors, and suppliers.

Ensure vendors deliver quality services and products in line with contractual agreements and timelines.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations during maintenance work and project implementations.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the safety standards are maintained across all locations.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and capital projects.

Preparing and manage Purchase Order & all invoices/payment related Project & Maintenance.

Prepare and submit reports related to the status of ongoing projects, maintenance tasks, and budgets to senior management.

Qualification and Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience (3-5 years) in project management and maintenance in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the QSR or hospitality industry.

Preferred Skills:

Required language(s): Good command of spoken and written English & Bahasa Malaysia.

Computer literacy – Microsoft Office, Accounting system and advantages of Autocadd

Strong knowledge of restaurant equipment, systems, and facilities management.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with teams, contractors, and suppliers.

Familiarity with energy-efficient systems and sustainable practices in restaurant management.

Ability to travel to different restaurant locations as required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations as needed.
