A leading health supplement company is seeking a sales professional to enhance customer relationships and conduct market analysis. You will guide product development while presenting strategic insights on market trends. The role demands strong communication and negotiation skills, along with a solid educational background in relevant fields.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences related to products
Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
Provide nutritional consultation and product recommendations to customers
Provide nutritional advice and promoting awareness on healthy diet and lifestyle to the customer
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
Stay up-to-date with new products, market trends, and competitor offerings.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management.
Work with product development teams to develop supplement products that meet customer needs and preferences
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure that product development projects are aligned
Responding, maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via Facebook personal messaging, WeChat, telephone calls and emails
Monitor and analyse product performance, customer feedback, and market trends
Contact and arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
Acting as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
Gathering market and customer information
Representing company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with clients
Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
Checking the quantities of goods in stock
Actively participate in department’s strategic planning activities in relation to the overall company direction
Recording sales and order information and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer
Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
Feeding future buy trends back to employer
Lead the development of product training programs for internal team and customers
Sharing best practice with colleagues
Working closely with marketing department
Need to go outside for sales activities such as client visits, pharmacy follow-ups, and events
Must have knowledge of raw materials related to supplement product development
Expands business by building relationships and identifying new business potential
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy, Nutrition & Dietetic, Food Technology, Food Science, Biochemistry, Nutritionist, Biomedicine or any related discipline
Candidate must possessed at least 3 years working experience in the Health Supplement / Skin Care industry
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
Required language(s): English, Mandarin & Bahasa
Candidate who excellent in speak, read and write in Mandarin will be an advantage
Good interpersonal, highly self-motivated, communication and negotiation skills
Possess own transport and prepare to travel occasionally
