The Role:

• Ensure products are designed and priced in according with Pricing Policy
• Ensure design of products comply with relevant regulations and guidelines
• Prepare assessments on product design and risks
• Review product write-ups and prepare relevant materials and documents as needed
• Recommend and prepare pricing assumptions
• Ensure efficiency and adequacy of pricing control and process
• Support team members in department tasks
• Ensure End-to-End Review Project is completed within stipulated timeline
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
• Other responsibilities entailed

The Person:

• Possess Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Actuarial Sciences, with relevant professional qualifications
• Has around 3-4 years working experience in life insurance industry, with basic knowledge in underwriting, claims, servicing and agency administration
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office, including Macro and VBA
• Has experience using Prophet/Excel for product modelling and projection
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
