About the Role
The role will be with UEM Lestra Berhad.
To coordinate and execute overall implementation and delivery of human resources (HR) operational, payroll, rewards and support services to employees in partnership with business and outsourced service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
To coordinate and execute HR operations activities, transactions and services such as payroll processing, ad hoc payouts, claims and benefits administration within the approved budgets and in a timely manner and in compliance with internal/external policies, statutory requirements and outsourced service levels (SLA) for the company.
To oversee payroll operations for specific subsidiaries of the company and work together with the team to ensure adherence to internal and external policies, as well as statutory and regulatory obligations.
To coordinate and work closely with HR outsourced service vendors in delivering HR services within agreed cost, scope of coverage and SLA, including to escalate issues logged for resolution.
To support the execution of activities related to the annual rewards cycle (i.e. performance bonus, increment, promotion, etc.). This includes conducting market data analysis and preparing benchmarking reports for stakeholders, where applicable.
To research and propose enhancements to the company’s HR policies and procedures to ensure the practices remain relevant and to align to any changes in HR legislation (Employment Act, etc.) as well as to comply with statutory/regulatory requirements.
To drive employee engagement/staff welfare activities such as company bi-monthly engagement programs, health and wellness, sports events etc.
To ensure data integrity by maintaining and updating employees’ database, personal information and movement records (e.g. appointments, remunerations, transfers, promotions, cessation of service, etc.) both in HRMS and physical files.
To support in providing advice to employees in any employee and HR-related matters.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCES
Formal Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or commensurate level of experience/ achievements
Human Resource Management or related field preferred
