Job description

The Diagnostics Development Hub (DxD Hub) is an end-to-end productisation platform that expedites diagnostics and digital health product development by enabling validation, registration and deployment of solutions that improve patient care and save lives. DxD Hub has cross-cutting, multidisciplinary diagnostics product development capabilities and work with public and private partners, transforming the Medtech landscape in Singapore through innovative solutions.

This opening is for a role as an Assistant Manager / Manager in DxD Hub's Corporate and Strategic Planning team, which oversees corporate reporting and strategy development to enable DxD Hub to deliver on its strategic thrusts and create value and impact to Singapore.

Job Description:

  • Support DxD Hub's leadership in key meeting platforms, including performing divisional reporting and communications functions with stakeholders within A*STAR, governing and advisory boards, as well as other public agencies in the ecosystem.
  • Support the Corporate and Strategic Planning Lead to develop and align strategies to economic and national agenda, and translate overarching DxD Hub's strategies into an action plan, coordinating across public sector and internal stakeholders and entities to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Support key partnership initiatives in alignment to DxD Hub business strategies, including management of Projects pipeline and administration of key partnership projects.
  • Support matters relating to DxD Hub's governance, including committee appointments and communications with committee members.
  • Monitor and report performance and tracking indicators for DxD Hub in alignment with A*STAR and its operating units, and in partnership with Finance, HR, and DxD Hub Corporate Services for financial targets. Coordinate and manage budget and resources to drive DxD Hub’s objectives.
  • Develop and deliver accurate reports of operational metrics to the CEO and Division Heads, including supporting on monthly operation reports.
  • Support amendment of internal operational processes for possible improvements to streamline operations, in alignment with A*STAR best practices.

Requirements:

  • Degree in life science, biomedical sciences, biomedical engineering or equivalent. Prior experience in strategic and/or corporate planning will be an advantage.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Able to work in cross functional teams.
  • Able to work outside of organizational boundaries to engage external stakeholders as necessary. Able to identify and contextualise stakeholder issues.
  • Well-organized, able to manage time and prioritize assigned tasks to deliver results under tight timelines.
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Self-starter who is pro-active, quality conscious and results oriented.
