Job description

The Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring smooth daily operations related to production, delivery, and maintenance activities in fertilizer-related operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the technical and management teams to maintain high standards of efficiency and quality across all operational processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily operations related to fertilizer production and logistics.
2. Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and machinery.
3. Manage project work process, project activities progress to achieve completion within the deadline.
4. Supervise operation processes and activities are carried out in a correct, cost effective, and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements.
5. Assist operation manager to oversee maintenance team which comprise of electrical, mechanical and vehicle maintenance.
6. In-charge of maintenance of farm machinery and equipment to ensure lowest production interruptions, high standards of safety and cleanliness.
7. Provide ongoing performance review, guidance and motivation to staff in carrying out their roles and responsibilities.
8. Regular reporting of the department KPIs through periodic meetings and reports.
9. Other duties as deemed necessary.
10. Analyze operational needs and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
11. Prepare regular operations reports for management review.
12. Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal technical teams on service and maintenance matters.
13. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
14. Assist in implementing new operational SOPs and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields).
2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a role involving maintenance/service operations, fertilizer or related industry.
3. Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
4. Analytical, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
