Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administration assistance to the department for pre- and post-award stage of competitive grants awarded by local and overseas funding agencies
  • Assist the team in reviewing and submitting grant proposals, and the various supporting documents
  • Administrative support for the review of grant annual, mid-term and final progress reports
  • Supportive role in obtaining clarifications on grant policies and guidelines to ensure compliance, and to liaise with grantor, HR and finance on account creation, submission of funding claims, budget projections, utilisation, and various variation requests
  • To work closely with legal office and partner institutions to establish research collaboration agreements
  • Prepare ad-hoc grant reporting to HQ or management, as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments
