We are seeking a professional to join us as an Assistant Manager, Minor Alterations, to support our team in providing excellent service and support to policyholders.

The Role:

  1. Provide efficient services, policy information, quotations, and resolve questions and problems for policyholders and agents within the expected response time.
  2. Assist the Team Lead in managing and ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.
  3. Coordinate CRS & FATCA reporting to the regulator.
  4. Ensure consistency in service delivery and that transactions are completed accurately and within set benchmarks.
  5. Prepare monthly reports.
  6. Respond to letters, including difficult ones, within the expected timeframe.
  7. Supervise and train staff.
  8. Review and sign letters, endorsements, memos, etc.
  9. Check reports.
  10. Vet and distribute daily mails for the team.
  11. Handle counter and telephone inquiries/complaints from policyholders, branches, and agents regarding policy matters in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
  12. Conserve policies through client retention efforts.
  13. Assist in planning and supervising team activities.
  14. Provide feedback and review processes for continuous improvement.
  15. Update and maintain SOP documentation arising from work processes or changes.
  16. Assist in addressing auditor queries.
  17. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager/HOD.

The Person:

  1. Possess a recognized degree in Management, Insurance, Business Studies, Administration, or related fields, or equivalent.
  2. Minimum: FLMI, Diploma in MII, or part ACII, AMII.
  3. At least 2-3 years of experience in a Life Insurance company, preferably with Customer Service or Actuarial experience.
  4. Strong customer service focus and attitude.
