A leading regional property development company seeks an Assistant Manager for Mechanical & Electrical Engineering to oversee a spectrum of projects from concept to completion. The candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinate with various teams, and monitor project progress. This role demands a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and several years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
Assist the team to perform a full spectrum of Mechanical & Electrical engineering projects from concept stage to project completion to ensure the site installation is compliance to regulatory requirement and design objective.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Assist during planning stage to ensure all Mechanical and Electrical systems are accurately captured, coordinated, and in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
Assist in monitoring project implementation for Mechanical and Electrical works on site and to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure M&E installation align with the approved projects.
Support and assess the site construction to ensure compliance with technical, contractual, quality, legal and health & safety standards.
Prepare project status reports and work to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications.
Liaison with authority for all submission and approval within timeframe for land related matter, planning approval, building plan and occupation permit on M&E matters.
Monitor work progress of the ongoing project in accordance to works programme, contract and specification.
Help coordinate updates to Mechanical and Electrical statutory requirements based on feedback from all sources including the project post occupancy review process.
Identify contemporary trends in determining system improvements & implement change.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 6-7 years working experience in construction and property development industry.
Experience in Consultancy Firm with site experience will be an added advantage.
Experience in delivered of at least one residential or commercial project successfully.
Experience in delivered of mix development with shopping mall podium and commercial or residential towers will be an added advantage.
