The ideal candidate will possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey and demonstrate strong negotiation and analytical skills. They will work closely with project management teams and be proficient in multi-lingual communication to liaise with diverse stakeholders.

Involve in the preparation of tender documentation, cost plans, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and pricing strategies.

Job Descriptions:

Strategic & Leadership Duties:

Develop and lead the overall strategy for cost planning, procurement, and contract management for the project

Coordinate with other departments including project management and technical teams.

Tendering & Pre-Contract:

Involve in the preparation of tender documentation, cost plans, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and pricing strategies.

Review and approve cost estimates and tender submissions for projects.

Contract & Post-Contract Management:

Administer and manage contract terms (PAM, PWD, FIDIC, or bespoke contracts), ensuring full compliance.

Oversee the preparation and validation of variation orders, claims, interim certificates, and final accounts.

Resolve complex contractual issues and disputes with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Procurement & Financial Oversight:

Monitor project budgets, cost performance, and ensure corrective action is taken when deviations occur.

Ensure timely reporting of project financials and commercial KPIs to QS Director.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.

• Strong command of standard forms of contracts (PAM, PWD, FIDIC, etc.).

• In-depth understanding of construction cost control, procurement, tendering, and contract law.

• Proven leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Required Languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and English to liaise with different counterpart
